English Class Enrollment Brochure

At the elementary stage, the Quebec education authority stipulates that basic education uses French, and English teaching time at the basic education stage is strictly controlled. Taking elementary school as an example, elementary students’ weekly English class time is generally 45 minutes, so English learning time is extremely limited; therefore, for children of Chinese heritage growing up in Quebec to speak fluent English is not something every child can do. Collège McGill’s children’s English courses are staged English learning courses designed mainly for elementary and secondary students, with a curriculum aimed at oral expression and communication and basic reading and writing skills, covering high-quality English education for all age stages, with more systematic planning and arrangement to improve learning efficiency and effectiveness. The college also provides English learning courses for adult students.
