McGill College

Collège McGill

Founded in August 2011 and located in Montreal, the “Little Paris” of North America, Collège McGill is renowned for high course quality, many types of courses, and a wide range, and is one of the best training institutions among Montreal Chinese schools. About 6500 primary and secondary student attendances per year, more than 100 international students, more than 10 fixed full-time teachers and academic staff, and 60 part-time teachers. As a metropolis where Chinese and Western cultures blend, Montreal provides overseas learners a good language-learning environment, but also creates invisible language and cultural pressure for new immigrants and overseas students.

  • About 6500 primary and secondary student attendances per year
  • More than 10 full-time teachers and academic staff
  • More than 60 part-time teachers and instructors
  • More than 100 international students helped per year

Under the leadership of language scholar Principal Lao Qin, Collège McGill not only provides professional Chinese, English, and French language tutoring, but for local students’ and Chinese international students’ exam needs has developed gold-medal exam classes: mathematics, science, French, English, history, high-school provincial exam 1-on-1 and specialized exam classes, with an average score increase of 13 points. Considering the great pressure on countless international students entering the Quebec job market, Collège McGill is committed to improving new immigrants’ language ability, providing French TeFaq sprint classes and English/French speaking and listening classes.

While developing students’ language and professional skills, Collège McGill emphasizes moral, intellectual, physical, aesthetic, and labor development in all aspects. Collège McGill’s education experts and artists from Polaris Arts Enlightenment Education cooperate sincerely; every lesson is carefully designed by the artist team according to children of different ages and learning progress. Children learn painting knowledge in class, learn about nature and more life knowledge, and use a teaching method combining science and artistic language, so students grow happily.

At the request of many new and old immigrants, Collège McGill cooperates with local education departments to offer adult training courses adapted to the Quebec job market, achieving both professional-skills and language-skills goals. Among its many courses, the accounting course has received unanimous praise from students.

In fall 2017, the first graduating class of Collège McGill accounting courses graduated smoothly, and all found professional accounting internships.
